Lender allocation software for NBFCs and HFCs

One system for your
treasury team.

Koshtaq matches every loan to the right lender under that lender's rules, so no loan is ever pledged twice. Borrowings, loan book insight and a full audit trail come from the same monthly upload, which never leaves your servers.

The problem in numbers

Twenty days of Excel, every single month.

At a lot of NBFCs, the monthly hypothecation of book debts still means weeks in Excel. Pull the loan book, check every lender's rules by hand, hunt for double pledges and build each lender's file. Then do it all again next month. We get it.

Why does it take 20 days?

  1. 01Every lender writes its own eligibility rules.
  2. 02Each one has 20+ conditions, from DPD and CIBIL to state and product.
  3. 03Some limits cover the whole pool, so you can't check them loan by loan.
  4. 04State caps apply across the entire book.
  5. 05Lenders change their terms halfway through the year.
  6. 06Every new lender and every new loan adds more combinations to check.
How it works

Upload once. We'll take it from there.

Five simple steps for your team, with Koshtaq doing the heavy lifting in each one.

  1. 01

    Upload your loan book

Drop in an Excel file, or connect your LMS directly if it runs on a PostgreSQL-compatible database. Koshtaq checks every record first and sets the bad ones aside, so nothing breaks halfway.

  2. 02

    Every lender's rules get applied

All 20+ conditions per lender run on their own. Your team edits them on screen, and every change is saved as a new version.

  3. 03

Last month gets a fresh look

Loans that still qualify stay where they are. Only the ones that now break a rule are released, so one bad loan never upsets a lender's pool.

  4. 04

    Free loans find their lender

Matched by priority and eligibility, within each lender's limits. Ticket size bands and state caps are handled as part of the match.

  5. 05

    Review, then download

Your team checks the result and downloads every lender's file in one click, in Excel or PDF. Any manual change is logged with a name and a reason.

What you get

Everything your treasury needs, from one upload.

You already upload the whole loan book every month. Koshtaq turns that same upload into your lender files, your borrowings view and a clear read on your book. No second system and no spreadsheet on someone's laptop.

Works with your existing systems

Keep your LMS. Add Koshtaq.

Koshtaq sits alongside your loan management system (LMS) and reads from it. It is not an LMS and not a co-lending platform. Nothing to migrate and nothing to type in twice.

Upload a file, or connect directly

An Excel file works with any LMS. Prefer to skip the upload? Koshtaq can read straight from your LMS if it runs on a PostgreSQL-compatible database.

Your LMS carries on as usual

Origination, disbursement, EMIs and collections stay exactly where they are. Koshtaq only reads the loan book.

Lender rules, set up on screen

No coding and no waiting on a vendor. Copy a lender, change what's different and save it as a new version.

Built for India

Made for Indian lenders and the way they write their rules.

01
Speaks your lenders' language

DPD, CIBIL floors, state rules, product, employment type and loan age are all built in.

02
Ready for inspections and audits

Every action is logged with who did it, when and why, so you can show RBI inspectors and auditors a record nobody can edit.

03
Stays on your servers

Your loan book, customer data and lender terms never leave your network.

04
Fits NBFCs and HFCs

Built on a live NBFC book, and just as at home at a housing finance company with many lenders.

Not an LMS.
Not co-lending.

Your loan management system makes and services the loans. Co-lending platforms split new loans with a bank. Koshtaq does neither: it works on the loans you already hold and decides, every month, which of them secure which lender.

Not a pilot and not sample data. A mid-size Indian NBFC with 7,55,037 loans and 20 lenders closes its month on Koshtaq.

Measured at a live NBFC: 7,55,037 loans, 20 lenders. The same figures appear in KGT Solutions' case study.

Month-end used to take this team close to 20 working days. Two people worked on it, and the first 5 days went on cleaning the loan file before any real work could start.

The spreadsheet had no way to stop the same loan going to two lenders, and it happened around 850 times a year. Two lenders also set limits on the whole pool, which you simply can't check by eye across 7.5 lakh loans.

Now the month closes in about three hours. The database refuses a second pledge on the same loan in the same month, so double pledges went from about 850 a year to none, and every change sits on the record for the auditors.

FAQ

Good questions, straight answers.

The things treasury, IT and audit teams ask us most. Every answer starts with the short version.

No. Koshtaq is installed inside your own infrastructure, so your loan book, customer data and lender terms stay on your network. Nothing is sent to us, and your book never sits next to anyone else's.

No. Your loan management system keeps handling lending, EMIs and collections. Koshtaq just reads the loan book each month and takes care of the lender side.

No. Co-lending platforms split new loans between a bank and an NBFC, and an LOS or LMS originates and services loans. Koshtaq works on the loans you already hold: it decides which of them secure which lender each month.

You change the rule on screen and save it as a new version. Earlier months stay exactly as they were, and the new rule applies from the next run. No coding needed.

Your monthly loan book (your book debts, loan by loan) and your list of lenders with their terms. That's all Koshtaq needs for the monthly hypothecation of receivables. An Excel file is fine, or Koshtaq can read straight from your LMS if it runs on a PostgreSQL-compatible database.

One to two weeks from kickoff to your first live month. We'll need your lender terms, a recent loan book and a few hours with someone from treasury to check the rules. We handle the rest.

Yes. Every action is logged with a name, a time and a reason, and nobody can edit the log. Auditors can have their own view-only login.

With a licence, the first three months of support are included, then a yearly maintenance plan covers updates and rule changes. With a subscription, support and updates come with the yearly fee.
